Area Churches and Religious Schools

Generally, the history and character of most places is intertwined with its churches.  This generality is particular true in Proviso Township.  Therefore, over time we will present information about the origins and lives of the area's churches.

The area is blessed with many churches.  Working with information provided by members of the congregations and area historians, we will present material on as many of these churches as possible.
