The Franzosenbusch Prairie House

Our Society takes its name from the predominantly German Lutheran community which existed around the present-day intersection Cermak and Wolf Roads.  One of our primary objectives is the preservation of the House (pictures on our home page) which contains within it the frame and floor of that community's first schoolhouse built in 1853.  To read more on this historic structure, see the following links:
