Feb 19, 1947   Adopted plan of requiring schoold employees who receive mileage allowance to carry at least $20/40,000 Public Liability and $5,000 Property Damage insurance, and the School Board to compensate the employee of one-half of such PL & PD insurance.    
         
March 22, 1947   Adopted second now salary schedule.  First schedule of March 19, 1945 was increased by $100 increment on November 17, 1946    
    This new schedule ranged from $1450 with no expericence and less than a 4-year degree up to $2750 per year with a Master's Degree and 12 years of experience.  Also adopted 1st Sick Leave Plan that allowed 5 days absence per year with accumulative leave up to 15 days in any one year.    
    Supt. Beamish salary inscreased for 1946-47 year $3650 (yearly)
