Housed in museum in the 1892 Western Springs Water Tower, the Western Springs Historical Society has a wonderful collection of by-gone days.  It is well worth the effort to visit their collection on the first and second stories in the tower in the second block east of Wolf Road on Hillgrove Avenue (along the north side of the railroad tracks).  At this time the museum is open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
