In 1892:

LaGrange Park incorporated.  In one of the first actions closed down Pete Swanson's "blind pig".

Reference points:

• The north (top) edge of the township corresponds to North Avenue.
• The east (right) edge of the township corresponds to Harlem Avenue.
• The upper left corner of the box in  bottom left side is the intersection of Wolf and 31st Street. Roosevelt Road runs from left to right through center of the township.
