NEW SHOE STORE TO OPEN

O. F. and H. F. Schultz Incorporate Superb Bootery to Handle Shoes In Mandel Building

LaGrange is to have one of the largest shoe stores in the suburban district when the Superb Bootery opens in the Mandel building at 17 South Fifth avenue about September first. A company has been incoprorated by Otto F. Schultz and Herman F. Schultz for $25,000.00.

"We will handle the Florsheim Shoes and the Dorothy Dodd shoes for women and Sinac shoes for children," said Herman Schultz, who will be manager of the store in telling about their plans.  "We will give special attention to children's shoes and will carry a complete line."

The store will also carry the International company's line of working shoes and medium priced footwear and a full stock of rubber goods.

Mr. Schultz is visiting various shoe stores in the city to get a line on the style of figures and arrangements which will be most attractive and adapted to the Mandel building.  Ample space will be provided for carrying a large stock and Mr. Schultz expects to make the Superb Bootery a credit to the business district of LaGrange. When William Mandel vacates his store next month it will be the termination of thirty years in the mercentile business in LaGrange.  For ???? years he was in business with his brother Fred and then after being alone for a time he was associated with John Keller.  When he decided to retire he sold out over a year ago but the man who bought became  so homesick he accepted a big sacrifice to have Mr. Mandel take the business back.  This time Mr. Mandel is planning to get that long vacation he has been planning on for years and will sell out his entire stock so that possession of the store can be given.
