Resignation of George Gale is Tendered to Board Tuesday; Successor Appointed
George Gale, veteran fire marshall of LaGrange Park, tendered his resignation to the village board Tuesday night. Mr. Gale gave no reason for his action which follows closely a recent change made by the board in the police department.
Elmer Kemman, 329 North Fifth avenue, a member of the volunteer fire department for two-score years, was appointed by President Stanley Bracken to be fire marshal.
