DEATH OF AUGUST DEGENER
Highly Respected Resident of LaGrange Park Died at His Home December 5
The death occurred on Monday morning, of August Degener, in his seventy-second year, at the family residence, 505 North Fifth avenue. The late Mr. Degener was a well known and highly respected citizen of LaGrange. He had been ill for two months, and is survived by his wife and ten children, five girls and five boys. They are Amanda, Alma, Alfred, Otto, Caroline, Minnie, Edward, Clara, Louis and Arthur.
The funeral took place at 1 p.m. from the family residence, 505 N. Fifth avenue to St. John's Lutheran church. Interment was made in Proviso cemetery, Reverend Alex Ullrich officiating.
