CONCEDE BROADVIEW CLERK FIRE VICTIM

Cause of Death Still Mystery, However--Buckle, Keys of Auto Found in Ruins

That James Grant, village clerk of Broadview, was the victim whose charred body was found in the ruins of a burned farmhouse in the village several weeks ago is the theory upon which officials now agree.

Mrs. Grant has finally been convinced that her husband is dead.  A belt buckle with the initial "G" and the automobile keys of Grant were found in the ruins.

A chemical test was made by Dr. Waldo Webster, chemist of Coroner Bundesen, and the finding was that the body had not been embalmed.
