Fox, George M., Dr.

Dr. Fox served as the physician of La Grange for many years.  In 1890 Fox lived at 60 South Fifth Avenue.  That year a group of Catholics attended their first Mass in La Grange on November 1, 1890, at the home of Dr. George M. Fox.  Reverend James W. Hagan celebrated the Mass.  This group would go on to organize the Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church.
