Lyon, David

David Lyon was one of the men who led an effort to incorporate La Grange Park.  On July 14, 1892, a referendum was called -- and passed.  It called for the incorporation of the Village of La Grange Park.  This first act of the newly formed Village was to pass an ordinance declaring the Village dry, shutting down the illegal tavern operated by Pete Swanson.
