MRS. CAROLINE WESTPHAL

Services Friday for Mrs. Westphal, 94 Old Resident Here

Services for Mrs. Caroline Westphal, 94, 741 North Stone avenue, will be held Friday afternoon at the Rhenberg Funeral Home.  Mrs. Westphal died at her home Tuesday afternoon after an illness of two weeks.  Services will be held at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Westphal had lived at the North Stone avenue address for 75 years.  Born in Hanover, Germany, on November 26, 1850, she was married to John Westphal in Chicago on April 18, 1870, and they immediately moved to LaGrange to make their home.

Mrs. Westphal was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.  The Rev. H. Kramer, pastor of the church, will conduct the services.

Mrs. Westphal is survived by three daughters, four sons, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Mr. Westphal died several years ago.  Surviving children are Alfred of Glendale, California, Alvina, John, Caroline and Waldimar, all of LaGrange; Warner of Chicago and Ella of LaGrange.

Interment will be in LaGrange cemetery
