HARVEY MANDEL

Services for Harvey Mandel, Dairy Farmer

Services were held for Harvey Mandel, 45, of Liberty road,  Aurora, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 22^nd and Wolf road, Wednesday, October 29, with the Rev. E. Pittelko officiating.  Interment was at Oak Ridge cemetery, Hillside.

Mr. Mandel died Saturday, October 25, 1947 of a heart attack.  He was born at 31^st street and Wolf road and operated a dairy farm at that location for many years, where he made many friends in LaGrange and Western Springs.  Four years ago, he moved to Aurora.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Mandel, and four children:  Mrs. Grant (Everlyn) Schoger of Naperville, and Howard, Harley and Shirley of Aurora; his mother, Mrs. Nellie Mandel, 134 North Dover avenue, LaGrange, and a brother, Edward, of the same address.  There are also two sisters, Mrs. Atense Stuenkel and Mrs. Esther Bommelman, who live at 31^st and Wolf road.
