MRS. CLARA ZUTTERMEISTER PUSCHECK

Mrs. C. Puscheck Died Monday Night. Golden Wedding Anniversary was

Celebrated One Year Ago; Was 70 Years Old

Mrs. Clara Zuttermeister Puscheck, wife of Charles Puscheck of 132 South Kensington avenue, was stricken suddenly Monday evening about 10:15 o'clock and passed away shortly afterwards.

It was just a year ago in September 1935 that Mr. and Mrs. Puscheck had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.  Last Sunday Mrs. Puscheck attended two jubilee services of the St. John's Lutheran church, of which she was an active member, and she appeared to be in good health Monday.  She was 70 years old last July.

Mrs. Puscheck was the daughter of Henry C. Zuttermeister and Catherine Mihn, both settlers in the Willow Springs neighborhood and natives of Germany, and she was born in Chicago where she attended the Lutheran Parochial schools.  She was married to Mr. Puscheck at a large wedding in a southside Chicago Lutheran church, and several of the guests at the anniversary dinner last year had attended the wedding and three had been members of the bridal party.  They were Mrs. Puscheck's sisters, Mrs. Anna Reinke of Downers Grove, and Mr. Puscheck's sister, Miss Bertha Puscheck of Forest Park, and Mrs. Mary Heidorn of Proviso.

When the Puschecks first moved to LaGrange in 1903, they lived at 126 South Spring avenue and for the past 11 years they have made their home at 132 South Kensington avenue.

Surviving Mrs. Puscheck, besides her husband are three children: Walter H. Puscheck, Mrs. J. L. Lustfeldt, and Miss Hulda Puscheck; the sister in Downers Grove, and a brother in LaGrange, Otto Zuttermeister of North Madison avenue.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) 1:30 p.m. from the home and 2 p.m. from the St. John's Lutheran church where the pastor, the Rev. Alex Ullrich will officiate.  Burial will be in the Concordia cemetery.  The pallbearers will be six nephews.
