Andrew Borg

Andrew Borg, Oak Park policeman was yesterday granted a year's leave of absence to accept the appointment of chief of police of Broadview.  He succeeds Joseph "Indian Joe" Huszar, ousted last week by the village board as the result of extensive inquiry into the speed trap evil.

Although he was three times indicted on charges of illegally arresting motorists and murderous assault, Huszar continued his activities and was finally fired by the village board.

Chief Borg has been a member of the Oak Park force for two years and before that was a motorcycle policeman on the Cicero department.
