The church, with an enrollment of 40, conducted services in a sanctuary at Bell and North Kensington Avenues in 1978. This independent, "Christ Born Again Congregation" was established in 1976 by residents of the southwestern suburbs who rely on the King James version of the Holy Bible for authority.
